Really happy to have finished and licensed this project.
Chris and I have been working on it for almost a year sending files back and forth between Denver and Hamburg, searching for the right direction and looking for a great sound: A mix of modern electronic beats an traditional acoustic and americana elements. Clean and distorted guitars, soft and aggressive beats combined with fiddles, noises and soundscapes creating a unique combination of urban americana music.
The decision to create an Urban Americana collection of tracks came almost by accident after experimenting for a while with different ideas. So we went for it, letting life and technology inspire us, recording dobros, synths, guitars and trains, we came up with ten tracks melting modern and traditional, smooth and hard, new and old, yesterday and tomorrow.
